UFC 116 Wagering: Lesnar Will Knock Out Carwin

The UFC 116 wagering main event looks on paper to be very interesting for MMA fight wagering enthusiasts.

But when the rubber hits the pavement and UFC wagering champion Brock Lesnar and Interim Champ Shane Carwin step into the Octagon it’ll be anything but interesting.

Lesnar will wipe the mat with Carwin in sports betting and very likely earn a Knock Out win vs the mining engineer from Colorado. Carwin is basically not in the same class as Lesnar as a fighter despite the fact that his track record in the run-up to this UFC 116 probabilities event could be outstanding.

Much has been said of Lesnar’s past career in Vince McMahan’s traveling WWE circus as a performing circus clown. His authority as an MMA fighter has been really questioned since his UFC betting debut and continues to be all the way up this UFC 116 betting competition. But it is unjust, and ridiculous, to compare what he’s doing now in the UFC Main Events to what he did in his artificial wrestling days.

Lesnar (4-1) has shown remarkable progress as an MMA fighter during his quick career and has gotten better with every competition. He entered the UFC betting as a powerful but raw fighter and slowly his abilities and athleticism have been perfected into a very outstanding MMA betting champion.

Carwin has not fought against anyone even close to Lesnar’s ability level inside the Octagon even with being the owner of an ideal MMA wagering track record (12-0) and the UFC 116 probabilities competition will be a rude awakening for the man. Of course the heavyweight division of the UFC right now is a little thin but still the list of competitors that Carwin has defeated versus contest that Lesnar has defeated is really not even comparable.

But nobody who’s ever fought against Carwin has seen the second round. His outstanding win over Frank Mir in his last competition at UFC 111 secured Carwin the interim heavyweight title. And with an unbeaten track record of 12-0, you’d think he’d have earned some respect. But he’s still viewed as the underdog by the sports books. Carwin himself has said that if he touches anyone with his hands, he can knock them out. He’s fairly confident in his own abilities.

Carwin and Lesnar have several similarities and that may make the UFC 116 wagering competition relatively intriguing, at least for a while, but Lesnar should have his way with Carwin and possibly even knock him out. Both are former wrestling champions and aggressive in their fighting strategies.

The two were originally set to take on each other at UFC 106, before Shane Carwin won the interim heavyweight tournament, but Brock Lesnar pulled out of the competition because of an illness that kept him from training.

UFC 116 probabilities bettors will likely see a lot of striking and with these powerful men that opens up a lot of possibilities for a Knock Out. And Carwin is most almost certainly going to be it if anyone is going to get Ko’d in this UFC wagering competition.

UFC 116 is planned for July 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Do not forget to look into the UFC 116 card for\ the remainder of the bout wagering action.
