These two squads have been doing relatively well this season. This really should not a shocking to anybody as these two colleges are well noted for their share of victories in basketball for plenty of years. When Western Virginia visits Connecticut these two squads will be at it out on the court on January 9.

Connecticut on the other hand lost their prior game vs the Seton Hall Pirates by 12 points. Jeremy Lamb was still impressive nonetheless with 19 points.

Comparison between these two squads is that West Virginia is only a greater squad than Connecticut offensively. Defensively, Connecticut is the greater squad, but you have Kevin Jones who averages a double-double for the season and Darryl Bryant who’s only a monster offensively, which assists West Virginia get the edge over Connecticut.
